Derkijn Wilkes Hesse

Derkijn (or Derkje) Wilkes Hesse, living as maid in Appingedam, baptized on December 1, 1793 in the Groningen municipality of Termunten, as daughter of Wilko Hesse and Rensijn Jans. [*Note A.G.: Her father Wilko Hesse was born on January 4, 1761, farmer of profession, living in Leermens, province Groningen; Wilko Hesse was deceased on December 5, 1812, and hid wife on September 8, 1810, in their living town Leermens. By mistake the former wife of Hermannus Elzen Lot was mentioned in this certificate as "Jantje Huges": that must be Trijntje Huges!]. Derkijn/Derkje Hesse must have deceased before December 1831 because Harmannus (Elzes) Lot(h) remarried for the third time on December 7, 1831, in Appingedam Grietje Garmts Heringa, 39 years old, baptized on September 2, 1792 in Opwierde, as daughter of the laborers Garmt Pieters and Grietje Wolters . [*Note A.G.: Garmt Peters died on January 19, 1809 and his spouce Grietje Wolters on January 31, 1822, both times in Opwierde]. Married for the last time on June 13, 1835 in Loppersum Arentje (Christiaans) Ruitenga, born about 1812 in Loppersum, as daughter of Christiaan Harms Ruitenga and Antje Thomas Pothof.
