Gepke Roelfs en Jacob Alders
On January 29, 1765, after the death of his wife Gepke Roelfs, Jacob Alders made an inventory of all their properties in Lasquert, according a "farmstead with 56 "deimpt beklemd" land and 22 "deimpt" own land, with all the (im)movables, cattle, etc. and his debts of 250 guilders to Geert Derks *a relative of his step-son-in-law?), 50 guilders to the children of (*his step-son) Fiebe Hitjes and 200 guilders to (*probably his son) Hemmo Jacobs". In this certificate was also arranged that Jacob Alders "paid 450 guilders to the guardians of the under aged children of (*the deceased step-son) Fiebe Hitjes and (*the deceased) Etjen Toomes (*or Etje Thomas)".
[*These underaged children must be Thomas, Gepke, Wopke, Sikke and Elisabeth Fiebes]. While in the marriage contract of Albert Stoffers and Aaltje Hemmes, made on November 20, 1776 in Uitwierde, Aaltje's grandfather Jacob Aalders was also present there, just like Aaltje Hemmes' step aunt Aaltje Hitjes, with her spouce Geert Derks, and her sister Gepke Hommes, with the before mentioned creditors, I dare to conclude now that Jacob A(a)lders was the full grandfather of Aaltje Hemmes, and the g-g-grandfather of Jelle Jans Pelmulder (from his maternal side). And Gepke Roelfs his step g-g-grandmother and also an aunt of Jelle Jans Pelmulders g-grandmother Stijnje Jelles (from his paternal side)!
